Eclosing 08/12

I raised close to 100 Monarch caterpillars in enclosures between mid July and mid August. This Gallery contains a series of photos I took of a Monarch Butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, and pumping out its wings. I managed to catch several doing this, but this was the only time I was able to hang around with a camera and wait for one I knew was close. Such an amazing thing to watch.
